Kevin E. Baldwin has over 30 years of experience in the financial services marketplace.  He has successfully built both a career general agency for Penn Mutual, where he recruited and trained over 100 Financial Professionals and a brokerage distribution channel for Aetna and Lincoln Financial Group that grew over tenfold within seven years.

Most recently, Kevin finished a three-year assignment with  MassMutual overseeing their Field Training and Development department that resulted in increased recruiting, productivity and retention of new agents.  He established the National Life Academies and created the Regional Rising Leaders Prospecting agent training schools that increased the productivity and retention of over 4,000 agents.

Kevin is a certified state CE and PACE CE instructor and currently moderates LUTC courses in Prospecting and Meeting Client Needs for The American College.  He has spoken at regional and national meetings of agents and sales management on practice building and client focused needs selling.  Kevin has coached many new agents and sales managers as they grew their practices and sales units.

Kevin is active in the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and recently moderated the Hartford and New Haven CT Chapter ethics CE meeting.  He speaks regularly to individuals, families and business owners on the challenges of creating and sustaining a strong financial condition in volatile economic times. 

Since co-founding B & L Financial Architects, Kevin has enjoyed a strong and growing relationship with the companies of OneAmerica, a 130-year-old solid financial services company based in Indianapolis, IN with a very similar business philosophy based on traditional values.

Kevin is married and has three grown and married sons.  The couple has lived in Hebron, CT for 25 years.  A commercial pilot and certified flight instructor, Kevin enjoys flying his plane and skydiving.  He also likes to visit America’s National Parks and playing chess. Kevin is passionate about ministry, serving as a frequent teacher and guest speaker.  Over the years, he has helped to start two local churches and a Christian school.
